Ravishankar Dakoju (born 6 June 1953) is an Indian philanthropist and real estate investor. During 2018–19 he was the president of Rotary Bangalore Orchards,[1] a charitable trust instituted under Rotary International. In 2018, he became the first Indian national to announce the single largest community development fund from India to Rotary Foundation at INR 100 Crores[2][3][4][5] (USD 14.7 million). It is the second single largest contribution to The Rotary Foundation after the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Bangalore. He is also the founder and managing director of Hara Housing and Land Development Company, a real estate development company based in Bangalore, India.

Rtn. Kashinath Prabhu is a dynamic leader whose Rotary journey is marked by innovation, impact, and service. A graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Leadership, he brings over 26 years of experience in the global semiconductor industry, currently serving as Site Leader at Intel Corporation, Bangalore.

His professional excellence is matched by his Rotary dedication. Since joining Rotary Club of Bangalore Lakeside in 2018, he has led transformative initiatives in education, healthcare, environment, and CSR, earning accolades such as:

• Best President & Rotarian of the Year (RY 2021–22)

• Avenue of Service Award (RY 2022–23)

• Extraordinary Service Award (RY 2023–24)

• Outstanding District Officer (RY 2024–25)

Under his leadership, District 3191 executed CSR projects worth over ₹25 Cr and Rotary Foundation initiatives exceeding $0.5M USD. He is a Major Donor (Level 2) to The Rotary Foundation and a proud member of the Paul Harris Society.

A passionate advocate for sustainability and civic engagement, Rtn. Prabhu is also a guest speaker on topics like CSR, ESG, and community service. He lives by Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self, inspiring others through action and leadership.

He is married to Nandita and blessed with two children, Aditya and Aisha.

Represented District as COL member for 2017-2020 and also as District RI Director Nominating Committee Member-2011.
